About the role
A large medical equipment manufacturing company in Los Angeles is hiring for this role. You will be the PCBA engineering lead, owning the manufacturing processes for printed circuit board assemblies from new product introduction through sustaining. The role exists to keep those processes controlled, validated and improving, and to keep supplier and contract manufacturer quality on track.
What you'll do
- Lead the development, validation, optimization and sustaining of PCBA manufacturing processes
- Put process controls and risk management in place and keep them current
- Drive continuous improvement across the PCBA process
- Act as the PCBA engineering lead for new product introductions
- Mentor engineering teams and oversee supplier and contract manufacturer quality and compliance
What you bring
- Senior-level experience in PCBA manufacturing engineering
- Hands-on knowledge of process validation, process controls and risk management
- A record of leading new product introductions
- The ability to mentor and guide other engineers
- Experience overseeing supplier and contract manufacturer quality and compliance
