About the role
A large financial services company in Calgary is hiring for this role. You will lead client-facing data modernization work, turning business and analytics requirements into technical designs and delivering Databricks Lakehouse platforms that are scalable, secure and cost-optimized.
What you'll do
- Lead data modernization initiatives and work directly with clients and stakeholders.
- Translate business and analytics requirements into technical designs.
- Build and migrate data pipelines onto the Databricks Lakehouse platform.
- Implement data governance and CI/CD practices.
- Support testing, production releases and performance tuning, and keep stakeholders informed.
What you bring
- Hands-on experience delivering Databricks Lakehouse platforms.
- Experience building and migrating data pipelines.
- Working knowledge of data governance and CI/CD practices.
- Skill in performance tuning and in designing for security and cost efficiency.
- Clear communication with both technical and business stakeholders.
