You will own the statistical modelling behind how photonic device characteristics are measured, and help the team tell real fabrication variability apart from measurement uncertainty. Your findings will guide component design decisions.
What you'll do
- Develop statistical models and measurement strategies to infer photonic device characteristics
- Separate measurement uncertainty from fabrication variability
- Analyze experimental data using robust Python code
- Investigate systematic errors in measurements
- Work with designers and experimentalists to improve measurements and design decisions
What you bring
