About the role
A large online and mail order retail company in London is hiring for this role. You will own day-to-day transactional accounting and the month- and year-end close, keeping the books accurate and supporting the people who rely on them for decisions.
What you'll do
- Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll
- Process general ledger transactions and complete reconciliations
- Carry out month- and year-end accounting activities
- Support financial reporting and audits
- Analyze expenses and help improve accounting processes to support management decision-making
What you bring
- Hands-on experience across AR, AP, payroll and general ledger accounting
- Experience completing reconciliations and month- and year-end close
- Ability to support audits and financial reporting
- An analytical approach to expense review and process improvement
