About the role
A large utilities company in Montreal is hiring for this role. You will own the consolidation of financial results across the organization and the reporting that comes out of it. The role also supports the rollout of EPM consolidation capabilities and improvements to reporting systems and processes.
What you'll do
- Consolidate financial results across the organization.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with ASPE.
- Produce compliance reports, management reporting, forecasts and supporting disclosures.
- Support audits and work through complex accounting matters.
- Help implement EPM consolidation capabilities and improve reporting systems and processes.
What you bring
- Working knowledge of ASPE and financial statement preparation.
- Experience consolidating results across multiple entities or business units.
- Comfort handling complex accounting matters and supporting audits.
- Exposure to EPM or consolidation systems, or an interest in helping implement them.
- Senior-level experience in financial reporting.
