About the role
A large paper and forest product manufacturing company in Mississauga is hiring for this role. You will lead daily manufacturing operations across multiple shifts and own production targets, schedules, safety, quality, throughput and delivery. The company needs a leader who can develop its people and keep the plant running well.
What you'll do
- Lead daily manufacturing operations across multiple shifts
- Meet production targets, schedules, throughput and delivery objectives
- Uphold safety and quality standards across the plant
- Develop employees and supervisors
- Monitor operational KPIs and improve processes and equipment uptime
- Coordinate production priorities with cross-functional teams
What you bring
- Experience leading manufacturing operations across multiple shifts
- A track record of managing and developing supervisors and front-line employees
- Comfort working with operational KPIs to drive improvement
- Skill in improving processes and equipment uptime
- The ability to work with cross-functional teams on production priorities
