About the role
A large entertainment company in Richmond is hiring for this role. The manufacturing engineer works with suppliers to build their manufacturing capability and get new products to production readiness. You will own process validation and make sure output meets the approved design and quality requirements.
What you'll do
- Assess and develop supplier manufacturing capabilities
- Support product launches and process validation
- Confirm production readiness and compliance with approved design and quality requirements
- Investigate manufacturing issues and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement
- Maintain manufacturing standards and provide technical support to suppliers and internal teams
What you bring
- Manufacturing engineering experience in process validation and product launches
- The ability to assess supplier capabilities against quality requirements
- Root cause investigation and corrective action skills
- Comfort giving technical support to both suppliers and internal teams
