About the role
A large wholesale building materials company in Brampton is hiring for this role. You will lead maintenance operations and safety processes at a new production facility, supporting startup and the move into regular production. The role exists to put in place the maintenance and reliability programs the site will run on.
What you'll do
- Lead maintenance operations and safety processes on site
- Supervise hourly maintenance employees
- Support startup and the transition to regular production
- Develop preventive maintenance and reliability programs
- Coordinate repairs, shutdowns and contractors, and manage compliance, spare parts and the site maintenance budget
What you bring
- Experience leading and supervising hourly maintenance staff
- A working knowledge of preventive maintenance and reliability programs
- Experience coordinating shutdowns and outside contractors
- Comfort managing spare parts inventory and a site maintenance budget
- A safety and compliance mindset in how you run maintenance work
